Went to Mount Tignes for a week of snowboarding from 5-12th April. Had a fantastic time there! Here's the view from the 10th storey hostel.

Brussels, first stop of a tour packaged by COSMOS right after the snowboarding trip. Had only a few hours in Brussels. Rush around with my G2 and tripod to as far as my legs would take me. Started a habit of looking for postcards first to get inspirations and looking or copying similar shots. This view was on one of the postcards I saw. : )

Moved to Lucerne, Switzerland next. Went onto mount Titlus on the worlds 1st rotating cable car (no big deal!). Had the inch to snowboard all the way down! but couldn't. : (. The northern face of Titlus had the most amazing view of the swiss alps...ever! Or of ANY alps. I just came from the french alps and it didn't come close!

After austria, the tour brought us to venice, the most 'original' cities in the world. Here is the famous pagodas lining the harbour.

After rome, the tour went to florence and then Pisa. It was drizzling before we got to Pisa. And took this shot in sepia mode, which I discovered is a very good technique to take overcast skies, as it works the contrast very well. Wanted to climb the leaning tower to redo Galileo's experiments(of throwing lead ballls of different weights down), but time constraints made it impossible.

Went to nice, monaco, lyon and finally Paris. Seen here is the famous Notre Dame. I prefer this angle to the one of the front door. Took a very low show to frame the church with the flowers(tulips?).

Eiffel tower. My favourite night shot of Europe! As again, running around with tripod in hand to capture the best of Paris in the twilight.(about 830-9++ in april)

The London Eye

Another shot of london. Which has many snapping opportunities.

Went to monaco to watch the GP on 1st june 2003. Here's a view from where I was viewing (some dirt slope, cheapest tix). Cars were doing the formation lap, hence was able to freeze the action without much trouble.

Another idea copy from a postcard. Great stuff though : )
The famous Picadilly Circus of London

Giants causeway, one of the natural wonders in the northern coast of Ireland. This shot is heavily edited......
