Month Six: Your Mucus

You will pee and wipe and feel something squishy. You will say (to God, or to no one), "Please please don't let me be having a miscarriage." Then you'll take a look: Mucus. Thick, juicy, springy mucus. You will be impressed that you have generated such a glob, and you will call your husband into the bathroom. He will not be impressed. He will look quickly, because the books tell him to be supportive. He will tell you that you should put on a bra so that your breasts don't get saggy.
