CAMP WHITEBRANCH WORK WEEKEND
Camp Whitebranch has received funds to do a variety of improvements. To stretch those funds farther, they are looking for volunteer labor. The next work weekend is September 14-16. Food and lodging is free. The entire family is encouraged to come along. It could also be a good project for a youth group, Sunday school class, etc. Bring gloves, work clothes and bedding (no pets). On the bulletin board is a list of tasks that need to be completed from patching walls to trail repair to setting up tents and building picnic tables. If you are interested you can contact the church office, Pastor Rick or call the camp Manager, Tim Burroughs at 541-822-3511.
Elaine Entermille, church librarian, would like to encourage everyone to take a minute to visit the church library on Sundays. It is just off the entryway, clearly marked. There are so many quality books: biographies, fiction, non-fiction, children’s books, reference books, Bibles, etc. You’ll find something for everyone. Check it out! The library is also open during church office hours, 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
Have something you would like to advertise? Submit them to the church office to buy, sell, trade, give away, provide a service for, etc.
-
Come in and let us prepare you for your finals.
- We hold sit-in demonstrations every Sunday.
- Pray up in advance.
- I was going to waste, but Jesus recycled me.

GUYS GO TO THE "OLD BALL GAME!"
It’s a man’s night out when the guys leave on Monday, July 2 to see a Tri-City Dust Devils baseball game. If you would like to go, contact Pastor Rick or the church office. Arrangements will be made to go up in the church van. Don’t miss out, guys. Batter up!! Hey, pass those peanuts and cracker jacks!!!
Even though the roof project is completed the cost of the new sanctuary roof still needs to be taken care of. Len Shupe, Maintenance Committee chair, reports that 86 "squares" of shingles were installed at roughly $100 a square. Can you sponsor one "square" of our roof? Contributions can be placed in the weekly offering, making sure you mark "Roof" on the check or envelope.
