| You're a Sinner and Need Forgiveness yeah. that's right. you've sinned, i've sinned. we've all missed the mark some time or another. sin happened when you decided to do things your way, instead of God's. by sinning, you've been separated from God. "for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God." -Romans 3:23 "for the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord." -Romans 6:23 |
| God Wants To Forgive You there's the good news. God's demonstrated His love for you by sending His Son to die for your sins. by dying on the cross and rising again, Jesus paid your judgement and made it possible for you to be forgiven. "but God demonstrates His own love for us in this: while we were still sinners, Christ died for us." -Romans 5:8 |
| You Gotta Turn Away From Your Sins saving yourself ain't a possibility, it just can't be done. it's like when you realize you're walking in the wrong direction and you turn around, you gotta repent (aka turn away) from your sins. | You Need To Put Your Faith In God's Son, Jesus Christ when you realize that you're walking in the wrong direction and turn to go the right way. | You Recieve Jesus Thru Prayer Jesus is alive, He ain't some dead guy. He wants to become part of your life.
