| This monthly event that calls for of 12-1/2" blocks of a specific theme, colors, pattern or style where in blocks are swapped with assigned partners. A theme for the blocks is offered each month by your hostess. This event calls for anyone who wishes to participate to sign up with the hostess and a commitment of a year is appropriate. However, as with life sometimes, our availabilities change and our commitments need to also be modified. Keep your hostess informed of any changes or problems meeting your commitment to the group. This is an excellent time to try new patterns and work with that stash that just seems to be accumulating! These swaps can be from exchanging 18" x 22" pieces of fabric all the way to strips or charms (squares) of fabric. These swaps are not designated on any particular schedule throughout the year but are more spur-of-the-moment ideas that bloom in chat or on the message boards. Anyone can host, anyone can join and it's a fun way to accumulate a variety of fabrics for that ever-growing stash! There is always something going on in this group! |
