| Midnight Stars hosted by elainet219 It's a dark winter's night and the stars a out to shine and show the way! Each participant is asked to join the event by emailing [email protected] and then sending block, courtesy FQ and stamp by October 20th. Giveaway scheduled for early in November. Directions: Make a 12.5" star block using the star pattern of your choice. We are requesting that special fabrics be used to maintain a chosen theme for this event...........Midnight Stars should look like a night sky. For the yellow star please use an all yellow or mostly yellow fabric. It may have a white patterns in it but no other colors, please. For the night sky, use a Navy background in the darkest hue you have. Using a slightly lighter or darker color would be exceptable. Some black prints wiht navy may work. No other colors though, please. Any questions or concerns about colors to use may be directed to [email protected]. When you have completed the 12.5" block, please add a 2.5" sashing around the block using your matching navy background fabric. The final measurement of the block will be 16.5". DO NOT sign your block. A FQ and a stamp should be sent with the block for hostess courtesy. Please email [email protected] for mailing address. |
