RE: Road Runner Additional Outlet scope of work and price change
Time Warner has made the following changes to the scope of work to be included with the Road Runner Additional Outlet. The new rate for this task shall be $10.50 per task. Effective 9/11/01 the scope of work for RRAOIs shall include the following:
• Where possible the technician will utilize an existing outlet to include the wall plate and hardware. The technician shall inspect the existing drop and hardware to insure operability and integrity. The technician must determine that the outlet is a dedicated fine from the DC coupler to the modem. If a slow bffi*.ing cable light appears on the cable modem the technician shall trouble shoot the problem to insure the blinking cable light is not a result of the existing cable infrastructure of the dwelling. Troubleshooting should begin at the tap and go to the modem.
(This is to be billed as an RRAOI)
• If there is not an existing outlet available or the existing outlet cannot be dedicated then the technician must contact PC Plus management for authorization to install a new outlet. If the new outlet does not require a wall fiche, then the technician will install the new outlet. The technician must ensure that the outlet is a dedicated line from the DC coupler to the modem. If a slow blinking cable fight appears on the cable modem the technician shall trouble shoot the problem to insure the blinking cable light is not a result of the existing cable infrastructure of the dwelling. Troubleshooting should begin at the tap and go to the modem.
(This is to be billed as an RRAOI)
• If the new outlet requires a wall fiche, the technician should inform the customer there will be an additional cost. This cost shall be determined by Time Warner Cable and must be collected at the time of the install unless ok'd to bill by TWC management. This must be notated on the work order. Once the money has been collected and the work order has been notated, the technician will install the new outlet with the wall fiche. The technician must ensure that the outlet is a dedicated line from the DC coupler to the modem If a slow blinking cable light appears on the cable modem the technician shall trouble shoot the problem to insure the blinking cable light is not a result of the existing cable infrastructure of the dwelling. Troubleshooting should begin at the tap and go to the modem.
