Pawsitive Connection is a non-profit organization, located in Arkansas, whose mission is to explore and promote the human-animal bond as a way of improving a person’s quality of life. Our primary goals are:
To help health and human service professionals utilize animal assisted activities (AAA) and animal assisted therapy (AAT) to enhance patient treatments in their practice or facility.
To provide training, evaluation, continuing education and placement assistance for person's wishing to become AAA/AAT volunteers.
To educate and inform the community about ways in which animals can enrich and improve our quality of life.
