... and the Olot house in Leyte. And the members being mothers and family members visited the Sison Farm to see how it was run. They invited Star Parco to demonstrate Bonsai Making. There is really no telling what the members would do.

In 1957, the National Convention of the PAUW was held here in Naga City. The Camarines Sur Chapter also sponsored the separation and subsequent organization of the PAUW Iriga Chapter. These two events happened during the incumbency of Mrs. Virginia F. Perez.

Among the past presidents of the local chapter who have not been previously mentioned are then Mrs. Dolores H. Sison who caused the holding of an election when she realized that the organization had become inactive. That was in 1967. The other presidents are Mrs. Nena M. Triviņo, Mrs. Leticia H. Caldera-Sergio. Mrs. Trinidad S. Uvero,  Judge Mericia B. Palma, Mrs. Remedios C. Moya, Mrs. Palencia Gumabon, Atty. Florecita P. Flores, Mrs. Connie F. Geronimo, Mrs. Alejandra O. Papica, Mrs. Janet B. Soler, Dr.Nena S. Santiago and

Mrs. Beatriz U. Dy-Liacco. During her two year term, Mrs. Beatriz Dy-Liacco held an Art Exhibit with the help of Sonny Sales and Professor Concepcion of the same university. During her presidency Oratorical Contests were held for three years with much enthusiasm and excellent participation from the local collegiate schools. The succeeding presidents continued the oratorical contest started by Mrs. Beatriz U. Dy-Liacco. It was also during her presidency that she succeeded in recruiting young and active members to the organization.
