Faith in God and Jesus, His Son and our savior, is a hard concept for some people to grasp. I personally wasn't saved until I was 23 years old so I have known a lot of saved and unsaved adults. I have said, and heard other people say, "I don't believe in that stuff." However, once I was saved, I found out that is one of the worst things you can say. The biggest problem is that our disbelief in God doesn't change God or the truth at all.

God created us and all other life on this planet. It doesn't matter if you believe it or not. It's the truth and the truth doesn't change. Every man and woman has sinned. Nobody can even attempt to argue with that. It is the truth and the truth doesn't change. God punishes sin. That fact is debated but it shouldn't be. I know many people seem to flourish and reap rewards from their sins, but that is a lie. Every action has a consequence and every decision, a price to pay.

Nobody knows when Jesus Christ will return. When He does, we will see God's wrath poured out and mankind severely punished for their sins. It will happen. It is the truth and the truth doesn't change.

The point I am trying to make is that God is God, and your unbelief doesn't change that. The things that God has said will happen are going to happen. Your unbelief doesn't change that either.

God is going to do what God has told us He is going to do. Nobody can stop or delay any of it. It will happen. All your unbelief does is seal your fate. You are going to be punished in hell. It will happen. Are you going to hell because you have sinned? Yes, but every man has sinned. You are going to be punished because you didn't believe.

 I have personally committed too many sins for any man to count. Am I going to go to hell with you because of all the sins I have committed? No, I am not. Why? Because I do believe in God and that He sent His Son, Jesus, into the world to be punished for everybody's sins.

 It is true. Jesus was punished and died on the cross for my sins and your sins. My sins are forgiven because I believe that Jesus came into this world, was punished, died on the cross, and was raised from the dead so that our sins can be forgiven. He took my punishment upon Himself and paid the price that I could not pay. Thank God!

 I deserve to go straight to hell, just like anybody else. Thanks be to God that isn't going to happen. Is it because I was saved and God changed my life, and the good things I did out -weighed the sins I have committed? No, I am still a sinner. The only real difference between a saved person such as myself and an unsaved person is my belief and the Holy Spirit, which is a gift from God because of my beliefs.

You can be saved and be given eternal life because of your beliefs. Or you can spend eternity in hell because of your unbelief. It is all up to you. You can decide to go either way.

Before you decide, don't you think that you should at least read the Bible to make sure you have made the right decision. It is a big decision and like all decisions, you need to gather all the information you can get on that subject before you make your decision. Eternity is a long time. Think about it.
