Friends of Paul Yu are categorised into Allies and Associates, both of which returned fro-
                     m different Friendship Constituencies.

             Allies are very good and senior friends in the Alfonsa Friendship Circle, and the allies are
                     sub-divided into (1) Senior Allies (SA), (2) Principal Allies (PA), (3) Permanent Allies &
                     (4) Allies Ordinary.  Friends under the Allies category are listed in the "Friendship Se-
                     niority List" in chronoligical order of their alignment year.

             Associates are other good friends of Paul Yu who are not ranked or listed in the Friends-
                     hip Seniority List.

      (1) Senior Allies (SA)  【 資深首席戰友 】

                    Definition  -  Senior Allies are very best friends of Paul Yu who are at the heart of the Alfonsa Fri-
                                        endship Circle.  They are persons whose advice will be sought and highly respected
                                        on important matters and in tines of difficulties.

                                        Their attitudes, points of view as well as value judgments will be highly persuasive to,
                                        though not binding on, Paul Yu's decision.

                    Features  -   in-depth sharings, direct contacts, deep mutual understanding, and mutual trust & co-
                                        nfidence.

      (2) Principal Allies (PA)  【 首席戰友 】

                    Definition  -  they are the second best friends of Paul Yu. They are 'second' in the sense that they
                                        are maintaining a consistently good relationship and close contact with me but such
                                        relationships are not yet as deep or as frequent as the SAs.

                                        nevertheless, PAs are also regarded as very important and crucial to Paul Yu.  They
                                        are the only persons who can, at some later time, be admitted to become SAs.

      (3) Permanent Allies (PA II)     【 恆常戰友 】

                   These are good friends of Paul Yu who are Wahyanites.  Usually, they are ex-
                         classmates or schoolmates of Paul Yu, especially those from 5H and 7A.
                         Also included in this category are Elder Wah Yan brothers, ie those past
                         Wahyanites who had become friends of mine after my graduation.

                   The word 'Permanent' here suggests that friendships in this class are not
                         fluctuating and are very stable and promising.  Wahyanites are directly
                         admitted into this category and they can by-pass the stage of becoming
                         Allies Ordinary.

                   Originally, Wahyanites from Wah Yan Kowloon are not entitled to be admitted
                         under this class.  With effect from June 2002, nevertheless, Wahyanites of
                         WYK are also included in this category.
