The Catholic Constituency embodies all associates from the HKU Law Cell and other Catholic
friends made during the past years.  Nevertheless, members of the Catholic Society HKUSU are
scheduled to be excluded from this Constituency but they may still be retained as Alfonsa allies
or associates via other Constituencies.

Catholic life remains core to my life and its importance and influence continue. My term as the
External Vice-Chairman of the HKU Catholic Society and as Council Chairperson of the HK Fed
of Catholic Students are all evidences of my past commitments and devotion to Catholic activities
in my U-life.

The HKU Law Cell is the source of my spiritual formation in recent years. Its
          regular Cell meetings and other activities help foster my Catholic faith
          and allow reflection on my religious life after classes.

My connection with the Law Cell began when I was asked to become the
          Cell Convener of the Law Cell, responsible for "reviving" the Cell
          and caring for members' pastoral needs. That was in Jan, 2000.

I was in the Cell office for one & a half year, and I initiated various reforms,
          with a hope of bringing the Cell strong and unified again. I invited
          Joseph Mak SA (then Cell Coordinator of PP Cell) to be the Visiting
          Cell-Convener and we prepared many different activities for use in
          Cell meetings together.

After a long time of struggle, we managed to muddle through.  Now, we
          have a strength of about 8 people, meeting 'regularly and frequently'
          as the HKU Katso Constitution stipulates.

The only thing worth meaning about this sub-Constituency is my service
          with the Hong Kong Federation of Catholic Students (HKFCS).  I
          had acted as a Councillor (representing HKUKatso) to the HKFCS
          Council before getting elected as the Council Chairperson.

In my capacity as the Council Chairperson, I had to oversee the work of
          both the Council office and all functional committees of the Federation.

The most interesting and memorable thing of my Council Chairmanship is
          the interpretation and the amendment of the Federation Constitution.
          The Constitutional Committee then was chaired by me and all the
          amendments which were duly approved by the Council are now all
          in force.
