About Verticool
Verticool was founded in August
2000 in response to the growing need of communications consulting for
businesses on the web. The exponential growth of the Internet and Internet
communications has enabled businesses to provide and share more information
than any other time in history. Furthermore, the Internet has allowed
businesses to empower their employees to publish to the Internet. Verticool
offers businesses an in-depth look at their communications needs and deficiencies
as they relate to the Internet. Verticool looks closely at the processes
that businesses are using to get information to the Internet and helps
these businesses refine or establish new processes for ensuring that only
information consistent with the business' mission makes it from corporate
headquarters to the public's eye.
Some say were in the Internet Age. A day doesn't go by without another
user logging on for the first time to the Internet and before long the
computer will be in every household. As a result, network administrators,
programmers, and systems analysts are in demand. Bill Gates, a man who
has understands computers and the industry enough to make billions of dollars,
takes exception to the reference of an "Internet Age" or "Computer Age"
and instead refers to something called the Communications Revolution.
If this is the case, then why would nearly any of today's companies trade
the shirt off their back for a Cisco-trained administrator. Why isn't
the public relations offices of businesses managing the design and implementation
of the company web presence?
The problem is two-fold. The world hasn't yet recognized that we are in
the midst of a communications revolution. Second, traditional communications
and public relations courses have only now begun to recognize the importance
of the Internet in shaping the public opinion of a business.
Verticool is a solution for the communications revolution.
