Bhagatji Maharaj comes next to Gunatitanand Swami in the
Gunatit Guru Parampara. He was
the best disciple of
Aksharbrahama Gunatitanand Swami |
|
|
By cast, he was 'darji' - a tailor. But his thoughts and spiritual
position were very higher than other men. |
|
|
In
Satsang, it is said that - 'as
Gunatitanand Swami's tongue moved, Bhagatji's body moved. It means,
Bhagatji did every thing that Swami ordered him to do without raising
any questions. |
|
|
His such a niswarth altruistic
seva
paid up. Swami pleased with his
seva
and told him to go to
Bombay and blessed him for his good business. But Bhagatji told Swami
that he knew their is no happiness in worldly things. He demanded from
him to make him a true worshipper of God from inner self rather than
from outer self. |
|
|
Swami was pleased with Bhagatji's such a great demand but also told him
that the way he wants to walk on is very tough. But Bhagatji showed his
readiness to dedicate his whole life to please Lord Swaminarayan and
Guru Gunatitanand Swami. |
|
|
Bhagatji
asked him one question that was (i)Who are you and (ii) From where
are you coming. |
|
|
In the answer, Gunatitanand Swami gave him the true knowledge that he
was the human form of
Akshardham and he was coming from
Akshardham. |
|
|
At that time, people were not ready to believe Gunatitanand Swami as
Akshardham.
But Bhagatji and some other true disciples of Swami started making
statements in the public that Swami himself was the place to live for
God. |
|
|
For
this, Bhagatji Maharaj had to face anger of all the descendents in the
society. However, he kept firm on his statements. Due to this, he was
expelled also from
Satsang but was taken back afterwards.
But neither his belief in Gunatitanand Swami nor love for satsangies was
lowered. He was sitting at such a height of mind. |
|
|
He gave all the his knowledge to Shastri Yagnapurush Das - (Shastriji
Maharaj) who later founded the organisation - Bochasanvasi Shri
Aksharpurushottam Swaminarayan Sanstha. |
