Update-.
The past two years on the internet has put me in touch with many newfound cousins. This is very exciting for both of us. In addition to add new information, we have on several occassions had the opportunity to meet..This past spring and fall we met and had lunch with a niece of my paternal grandmother whose daughter found me on the net...Exchanging info we shall continue our meetings.....

May 2000 found us at Lake Okobojo in Iowa...Arriving early, we lunched with new found MARTIN/TEEL cousins who had driven up from from Atlantic Iowa.... That evening & the next day we attended the LANTIS/THEISEN (my sister-in-law�s paternal line) reunion...

In June we attended a VETSCH picnic in Elk River Minnesota-( descendents of Joseph VETSCH-a brother to Jacob)- there is talk of another one next year...

July we travelled to Alberta Canada---Sightseeing along the way--Medora ND on to Lethbridge in Alberta -driving on thru Banff (don�t miss this drive) to Edmonton (shopping the mall) then to Camrose Alberta for 5 days where we lunched with the ZWACK"s ( HENNEK line cousins) ...Friday-Saturday & Sunday were spent at the 2000 LOTZER reunion in Bawlf- a few miles from Camrose....over the weekend we met cousins from Alberta-Peace River- Calgary-Edmonton-British Columbia -Montana USA-Georgia USA -visited with old acquaitances and many new...Was able to meet my internet contacts-Belva & brother Don. We visited the farm that now stands on the old homestead...The old Twin City Tractor was in place for picture taking. Thank You again to Elmer & Ila LOTZER-Diane & Sharon for organizing a success event for all who attended........

August found us attending the annual MARTIN Reunion in Galesburg Illinois....This reunion is held on the third Sunday of August at Storey Lake Park just north of Galesburg....Jim Martin of Millersburg Indiana is the family Historian after finding him we have attended and exchanged information for the last 14 years....He wanted it on paper this year and we did it. But this is never finished!!!!!!!!!
