Hi!! My name is Joanne. My husband Roy and I have been married 55 years this coming July. We had nine children. We have seven children living and they all live nearby. They have blessed us with 18 Grand kids and 10 great grandchildren.

I have been researching my Roots for about the last 25 years. Along the way we have met many grand people and distant cousins!! Once you begin this search it gets in your blood. It is like being Sherlock Holmes, you sniff out the clues and see where it takes you. You dig in all kinds of nucs & crannies not to mention Cemeteries, old records and libraries. Sometimes it leads astray and sometimes you think you have found a Pot of Gold. Old Family Pictures can have some clues if your forebearers identified them with names & dates. We have visited areas where they have lived leading from our Home in Minnesota to Wisconsin to Illinois to Missouri then to Nebraska & Iowa onto South Dakota & North Dakota why stop there might as well go to Alberta Canada. What I am including here is just a basic outline of some of my research.
