| Triple Triad Gold - PC Download |
| Not too long ago, a someone decided to make an easy to use, desktop version of the Final Fantasy 8 card game Triple Triad. That way, you didn't have to spend 5 minutes loading up your copy of Final Fantasy 8 just to enjoy a few games of Triple Triad. Now, www.tripletriadgold.com presents you with their beta version of Triple Triad Gold, complete with the same music and all the rules (and a bonus Plus Wall rule!). I believe their are a few other versions, multiplayer, available on the Internet, but I haven't taken the time to look ... Can anyone fill us in? Installation Instructions: 1) Download TTG_Beta.zip 2) Unzip using Winzip or other utility. 3) Run setup.exe 4) Run ttg102up.exe 5) Run ttg200up.exe 6) Copy the msstdfmt.dll file to your C:\Windows\System directory 7) Run the game! That should be it. The Triple Triad Gold website went down, so I'm typing this off of memory. I don't know if there will be an update version or if the website will ever be up again, that's why I'm providing you with this download on my own web space. NOTE: There is one bug that I'm aware of: when selecting/deselecting certain options (the rules or the card levels limited), if you select too many and choose to start the game, sometimes the program will stop responding. If that happens, just hit CTRL ALT DEL and end the program, then try again by selecting all the options, and then deselecting them one at a time. At least, that's what I always do.....
