SaurusRemmy's Other Pokémon
Saurus is a somewhat overconfident Pokémon, and a little too sure of himself for his own good. Remmy got a Bulbasaur as his first Pokémon because, according to Prof. Oak, it was what was left. Saurus' respect for Remmy as a trainer was cemented in the boy's ability to come up with better attack plans that the Bulbasaur could. He generally gets along with the other Pokémon, though he rarely comes out of his pokéball except to battle.
Pi was the first wild Pokémon Remmy caught. He has yet to see real battle, although he was given the chance to Gust away a Smog attack from James's Koffing.
Ivonar and Remmy set Char, Saurus, and Manx on three Spearow: one got away, but the other two became Ro and Nasty. Nasty got his name because he attacked Sweetie simply for being the baby she is.
Ratzy holds the distinction of being the only Pokémon to have been trained by both Ivonar and Remmy, as well as the distinction of being one of two Pokémon to have been caught by another Pokémon, rather than a trainer. He was caught in Viridian Forest by Manx. It is unclear why Manx did not eat him then, as he has threatened to ever since: Ratzy was apparently a peace offering when Manx got used to the idea of training with Ivonar. (Manx generally addresses him with food references.) He was given to Remmy because Ivonar felt guilty keeping all four Eevees, just before she adopted Rahta.
Ratzy is a hyperactive Pokémon, with as little patience with waiting as his original trainer. He is extremely loyal: he fought, even while poisoned, for Ivonar. So far, he has yet to see battle beyond that one time: it is unclear if he has the same sense of loyalty to Remmy, though he and Drake are good friends.
Grouch and Grouchie
Remmy gave Ivonar the second of the three Magikarp he fished out of the river in the Viridian Forest, but kept the other two. They were sent immediately to Professor Oak with only names (Ouch-One and Ouch-Three) and a wave goodbye. With time and patience, Remmy managed to get both to evolve, by battling them against one another. Ouch-One is now Grouch, who despite his name is "more roar than bite", though according to Remmy, Grouchie's name is more appropriate.
Ivonar and Remmy each caught a Zubat while going through Mount Moon. Both Zubat were sent immediately to Professor Oak. Though they considered using them to help them explore Tier Canyon, they decided not to. Remmy has yet to decide on a name for his.
A Clefairy was just minding her own business, going about her life within Mount Moon, when suddenly a Paras zipped by. At the Paras' heels was a human, and at that human's heels, a tailless Persian. While pondering this odd change from norm, she was suddenly kicked from behind, as the human following the Persian ran into her.
Fairie is generally shy around strangers, but doesn't stay that way for long: often, her curiosity gets the better of her. She despises being called "cute", and can react harshly to the insult, but seems pretty forgiving to those who apologize.Remmy's Pokémon:
