GDI
Welcome Distraction and Lint Filter

GDI, in his original incarnation (clothed…)
GDI (initials having meant everything from "gosh darn it" to "gigantic dumb idiot" to "Gregory Daniel Ithenheimer"; current meaning of GDI is classified…) plays the role of "quality control" for
A Pallet Pair. He claims errant thoughts for himself, helping the author to focus on the story at hand rather than everything else going on in her life. GDI has seen life from many, many different viewpoints, being the most recycled character the author has. GDI is the personification of the quirks in the author's personality, the strange and odd and downright stupid things that help her be (or attempt to be) imaginative and creative. He is an integral part of the team, even if he does only exist in the author's imagination.
PSYDUCK
Spiritual Animal Guide and Moral Support

Psyduck. 'Nuff said.
The author's spiritual animal guide (or SAG) has gone through a few metamorphoses - mostly as cats. However, within present terms, it has settled on the form of a butter-yellow, quasi-platypus-looking creature with three black hairs, a blank stare, and a raging headache. The SAG Psyduck of the author helps her to choose from varying possibilities in the direction of the story as well as deal with the stress of what GDI cannot protect her from - namely, reality in general. They are able to relate well to each other thanks to the various headaches that plague the author - deadlines, homework, term papers, work… psy ai ai…

The author, and the one to place all blame on…

Author with a new friend she made in the summer of '00… ain't he cute??
The author is the person holding the bottle in the picture above, although she's often wondered what it'd be like (and wished to be) a creature similar to the one she's feeding there. She's made many attempts at original fiction, but finds herself more comfortable writing about characters whose personalities are pre-defined.
A Pallet Pair is actually a step out of the ordinary for her, as she uses mostly original characters in an unoriginal setting, when her specialty is the other way around. She hopes to continue A Pallet Pair so long as there is an interest in it. She adores feedback!Yes, the tiger is real. No, she didn't get to keep him. And that picture cost her a very worthy $10. She does have hair, but it kinda merged with the background, being about the same color.
