About the Author
Robert Stanek is a strong supporter of schools and libraries, frequently donating books and volunteering. He believes that everyone can learn to love reading, and children especially so. Currently Robert lives in the Pacific Northwest with his wife and children. Robert is proud to have served in the Persian Gulf War as a combat crewmember on an electronic warfare aircraft. During the war, he flew numerous combat and combat support missions, logging over two hundred combat flight hours. His distinguished accomplishments during the Persian Gulf War earned him nine medals, including the United States of America's highest flying honor, the Air Force Distinguished Flying Cross. His career total was 17 medals in only 11 years of military service, making him one of the most highly decorated veterans of the Persian Gulf War.

Great book for all ages!
The best reason to read the two previous adventures in the Kingdoms & Elves books is to get to the third and most enthralling book of the series! Everything you have read before comes to an exciting boil as Adrina and Emel return home, and the elves seek an audience with the King Andrew. Adrina faces new tests of her friendship with Emel and her faith. She discovers a new friend, and something terrible happens to her elf friends. Meanwhile Vilmos and Xith are on their own adventure that will wow you! This book has some of the most exciting twists and turns yet. Robert Stanek outdoes himself with this book. The book can be read independently but is much more exciting if you have read the other books in the series before starting this one. Highly recommended reading!
This book is probably the best of it's series!
Adrina, Emel, Seth and Vilmos find themselves in another great and suspenseful adventure that will leave you wanting to read more and more. Just like in the previous excellent book in the series, Robert Stanek has successfully surprised his readers with a two-thumbs-up ending! Truly, this book will astound everyone who reads it. This book was of a medium reading difficulty level from the beginning to the end of the book. I had to visualize many of the scenes in order for me to understand the book even better and it came alive in my mind. If you have't read The Kingdoms and Elves of the Reaches 3, you should! This book is my favorite in the Keeper Martin Tales series.
Every book in the series gets better than the one before
This addition to the kingdoms and elves series is my absolute favorite. A must read. I have read this book 3 times and it just gets better and better. I have read all the other Kingdoms and Elves books several times over too! I'm 12 years old and kingdoms and elves is the best book series I have ever come across. Robert Stanek is the best author, only he can write a book like this. When you start reading you are swept away into the world of ruin mist. I can't not wait until book 4 is released. I thin that this book deserves more than 5 stars it deserves infinity stars Kingdoms and elves is a great new series that will be around and remembered for years to come

The Kingdoms & The Elves of the Reaches Book 3 isn't your average fantasy. Fans of Tolkien, Rolwing, Brooks, and Pullman should take note. I've never been so deeply enthralled, so deeply moved by a book, and a book for 9-12 readers no less. I was amazed not only by the clarity and focus of Stanek's vision but by his ability to paint marvelous scenes as if on tapestry. The entire book is a tour de force the likes of which fantasy fans have been craving ever since Tolkien introduced The Hobbit. If you've never read a book by Robert Stanek, start here, then go back and read all the others. In this book, Stanek comes into his own as a writer, a rare type of writer than can truly deliver. He accomplishes more in these 200+ pages than I've ever seen, where most fantasy writers take 800-1000 pages to accomplish 1/2 as much. Highly recommmended, you are going to like this.
