Subject: REGISTRATION OF A MULTIPURPOSE COOPERATIVE SOCIETY ON PROVINCIAL BASIS. Reference your application on the subject cited above. The competent authority has acceded to your request for the registration of the proposed multi-purpose cooperative society subject to the following conditionalities:- i. The application for proper registration of the proposed society should be signed by atleast fifty persons with proof of their identification and a brief about their expertise. ii. The application should be accompanied by a feasibility report showing the proposed society�s financial viability, i.e. a statement relating to the expected business turnover, the number of members, the quantum of expected business transactions and expenditures being within its income. iii. For housing sector, the same shall be accompanied by information concerning schedule of development, master plan, site plan indicating availability of the existing public utilities; public amenities and allied facilities in the area; iv. For production and housing project or any other sector which is likely to adversely affect the environment, approval of initial environment examination or environmental impact assessment, as the case may be, obtained from the competent authority in accordance with Section 12 of the �Pakistan Environment Protection Act, 1997 (xxxiv of 1997)� and attached with the application for registration. v. The application may also be accompanied by a proof that promoters members contribution towards the paid up share capital is in accordance with the feasibility report. Further necessary action may please be initiated at your end accordingly i.e. submission of application for the purpose of registration duly accompanied by the proposed draft bye-laws, in accordance with the relevant provision of the Cooperative Societies Act, 1925.
