| Realizing that most of our young qualified doctors, engineers, teachers, technicians and independent professionals are out of suitable jobs in Urban areas and further realizing that Government jobs in Rural areas are unattractive due to poor quality of life, ill equipped clinics, hospitals and schools, we the sponsors of Pakistan multipurpose cooperative of the self-employed have decided to pool our resources and set up state-of-the art hospitals, clinics, schools, vocational training institutes, light engineering workshops, live-stock clinics and hospitals, road transportation, consultancy services, agriculture extension services, housing and all such independent professions and services where individual professional skills of members are best utilized through financial and Institutional support of the society and hence providing jobs, improving educational and health facilities in Urban and Rural Areas on self-help basis. And through Cooperative effort of the members of the Society to assist Government�s Poverty Alleviation, Health and Education improvement programmes.
This letter is to inform you that you can become a member of the PMCS by applying on the attached form along with a copy of your I.D.Card/passport and your photograph and a cheque for Rs.3000/- payable to PMCS Account No. 01003681 with Prime Commercial Bank Ltd. Valancia Branch, Lahore (Pakistan). The breakup of the amount of Rs.3000/- is as under: 1)- Cost of one share Rs.2000/- (Refundable) 2)- Admission fee Rs.1000/- (Non-refundable) We have already identified following projects and their feasibility is under preparation. 1)- Housing complexes in Lahore and other districts of Punjab in collaboration with Housing Department Government of Punjab. 2)- Establishment of a full service hospital of 100 beds or more in the suburb of Lahore. 3)- Establishing schools/vocational institutes where the skill of the members of PMCS may be utilized against financial rewards. 4)- Agriculture extension through mechanized farming and creating storage capacity on commercial basis. 5)- Exploring possibilities to set up petrol / CNG Stations in various housing societies of Lahore and outside (within Punjab). 6)- Importing or exporting such merchandise/items which may generate fast profits on the investments contributed by members. 7)- Exploring possibilities and safe methodology to have joint ventures with Government�s commercial enterprises. 8)- To create Senior Citizens residential resorts specially those living abroad unattended. They will be like ASSISTED HOMES in the USA, paid by the Senior Citizens themselves. We are not restricting ourselves to above stated business ventures. We might get more feed back from you and other members to indicate other commercial ventures on cooperative basis.
