| The season 1975-76, was one of the best in the legendary history of PAS Giannina. It was a proud, solid and impressive team, which managed to end the season in the 5th place of the 1st National League, and made all the Greek football to bend in front of its majesty. It was the "Ajax of Epirus", with 36 points (15 wins, 6 draws, 9 defeats) and a 40/33 goal-average. It was the team, which in the Zosimades Stadium won Paok (champions that year) with 2-0, Aek with 2-0, Panathinaikos with 2-1 and Olympiakos (former champions) with a score of 3-0. Overall home results: 14 wins, 1 draw! First scorer was Oscar Alvarez with 10 goals, followed by Bretanos with 8 and Kontogeorgakis with 5. |
