| The season 1977-78, it was one of the best in history of PAS Giannina, in the Greek 1st National League. PAS finished in the 5th place, with 38 points, 14 wins, 10 draws, 10 defeats, (45-39, the 6th best offensive line of the championship). Important results: PAS-PAO: 1-0, PAS-Olympiakos: 1-0, PAS-Aris: 2-1, PAS-Iraklis: 3-2, PAS-Panachaiki: 6-3 (!), PAO-PAS: 2-3, Ethnikos-PAS: 0-2. In the overall top-scorers table for the season 1977-78, PAS Giannina had three players: Glasmanis 8th (11 g.), Kontogeorgakis 12th (10 g.), Seitaridis 12th (10 g.). It worths to say that Kontogeorgakis scored the 13.000th goal of the Greek First League, during the 29th match day of the season. The official stadium record for that season was during the match against PAOK : 7.718 (tickets, not fans). PAS Giannina also reached the Quarter Finals of the Greek Cup, where it lost from Olympiakos with 2-1 (Papazoglou scored for PAS). |

| Tsourlidas and Siontis naturally were strikers but they were used mainly in the defense. Nikolaidis, Papagelis, Mitsis, Koutras, Bekas and Kyros were from the amateurs team. |
