Katrina
Sometimes after midnight you'll see Katrina outside of the city gates. If
you have magic, she'll teach you a spell and she will probably give you a
healing potion. If you sleep at the inn, she'll sometimes leave notes for
you to meet her. Mostly it's better to sleep in Erana's areas, until you don't
have anymore dreams.
The Faerie Queen
For magic skilled heros, wander at midnight just outside of Erana's garden
and on some nights, you can meet the Faerie Queen. Eventually you will have
to duel with her, and you will receive Erana's Staff.
Thief Fun in Town
(see also Monastery to snag the Blackbird). Nikolai's house is a primo target.
Levitate or climb into his window. Sneak, and remember to oil everything.
There is a chest at the foot of Nikolai's bed. If you pick it and very, very,
quickly put the locket back into the chest, you can actually GAIN honor. To
do this click the toolkit on the chest quickly, even as the chest is opening
and the text/voice is going on, until the hero puts the locket back in. If
honor is not a problem search his closet, touch his musicbox downstairs, search
the desk, and the desk near the stairs. Make sure you remove the ugly mug
on the desk before opening it. Exit, and proceed to the Burgomeister's. Pick
or cast open on the window, then loot the desk. If you like, you can brag
about your feats to the Chief Thief.
