Talk to Igor if he's there, enter the adventurer's guild by whatever means
you can. If you need a new sword, there's one on the wall in a glass case.
Grab the rope on the floor if its there, use the stairstepper, read and sign
the logbook. Read all of the books on the bookshelf. If you have the rope,
use the grapnel on the hook, then climb the rope. If you have thief skill,
read on. If not, skip to the next page.
Thief fun in the Adventurer's Guild
After climbing the rope, you'll see a thief mark. Click on the desk, select
"search under desk." Click on the coathangers. Click on the third hook from
the left twice. Then the second hook twice. Then the last hook once. Finally,
click the first hook twice. Climb the bookcase. Get the guild card from the
poster. Use it on the large doors. Read the books in that bookcase, look at
the area under the safe. Search the drainage gate on the right of the screen,
then the one below that. Use the knob from the drainage gate in the safe.
The code is "filch." The "f" is between the "e" and the "g", and so on. Search
the desk, disable the trap. Then pick the lock and read the book. You can
disable any trap in the game by getting any color in a tic-tac-toe pattern.
Search under the large barrel and presto! Talk to the Chief Thief. When done,
you can crack the two safes on the wall and leave. **Note: If you climb back
in via bookshelf, search the desk again, and crack the safe a few dozen times
over and over again, it is the fastest way to build climbing, lock picking,
and you get 3 daggers for throwing practice everytime you search the desk!
