Sleep at the inn to get a note to meet Katrina at the Borgov gates. To get
out of the chains, simply break them, cast a spell, etc. Get the stake and
hammer. Exit by the Iron Maiden on the right. Open Katrina's coffin, and talk
her out of killing you. She'll geas you to get all of the rituals (which you
already should have). Last chance to practice your skills! Return to the gates
and find yourself in the Dark One's Cave again. You need to get the book away
from the monster. Calm it down, cast fetch on the book, or do whatever you
need to do to get the book. It contains the Essence Ritual, the last one needed
to summon the Dark One. Get across the rope bridge, enter the room you first
started in. Put your magical torch where you found it next to the altar. Push
the Dark One sign into the top of the Altar. Recite the Bone Ritual, a cage
will capture you. To escape, use your paladin sword, break the bones, or cast
frostbite, fire, and force. Get your torch and leave. Enter the next cave,
on the far left. Walk/ climb to the altar on the right and read the Blood
Ritual. You can cast frostbite on the altar to stop the acid flow so you can
cross the way you came, or use acrobatics to flip around the top of the screen.
Then go to the next pulsing cave. Read the Breath Ritual. You need to blow
on the horns in order. There's a top row and a bottom row. Start on the bottom
right, then bottom left, bottom center, finally top center. This will open
up a valve of air in the center top of the screen. Try to exit the area. You
will be sucked into the valve. Click on a tube sticking out of the ground.
It's in the center and on the right of the hero as he flies by the center
of the screen. The tube will catapult you to safety. The next cave is completely
black. Make your way to the top right hand corner of the screen. To get there,
move left and up, when you are on the top left of the screen move right. The
alter will appear, read the sense ritual. Exit that cave and read the heart
ritual on the alter on the center of the screen. Climb up into the glowing
alter. Tell Ad Avis the Ultimate Joke (from Punny Bones). There are a few
ways to beat Ad Avis. Once he's laughing, you can throw a dagger or Erana's
Staff. Then touch the crystal with the staff.
