Tupac Shakur was a member of 'The Poetry Circle' in Santa Rosa, California in 1993. The writer's circle included Tupacs manager, Leila Steinberg, and a former rap partner Ray Luv

A 200 page poetry book has been published. The book has a total of 71 poems.

The University of Berkeley offers a course examining the poetry of Tupac Shakur. The pass or fail class is taken by  approximatly 100 students each semester.


Amaru/Interscope Records released a CD on 11/21/2001 containing 25 tracks. The Rose That Grew from Concrete Volume 1. The CD includes various rappers reciting Tupacs Poetry.
