Committee Meeting Cub Scout Pack 349 4/15/02

WRAL weather center tour has to be re- scheduled due to a hockey emergency. New date is Friday night May 3rd. at 6:45. Plans are being made to meet before the tour for a pizza party, location/time to be determined.

Pack Planning meeting for the coming year to be held 2pm this Sunday 4/21 at Eric's house. We will be discussing/planning the 2002/2003 activities and forming committees to share the responsibilities.

We need a volunteer to help maintain the Pack website; it needs some updating.

A portable Pack bulletin/message board will be made during the next few weeks. It can be kept in the storage room and brought out during den and pack meetings. This will hopefully help keep parents (and Scouts) better informed of upcoming events. David will coordinate this.

Discussed crossover camping trip for May 18-19 at Rolling View campground on Falls Lake. We have 2family camping sites reserved, with a third site for our ceremonies. It will be essential for all of the adults to get involved in the planning and preparation for this trip. This should be a meaningful, memorable camping experience for the boys.

Camping trailer(and storage room) should be inventoried before the next camping trip. Pack needs to replace stove(s) stolen out of trailer a few months ago. We also need a square point shovel.

Pack checking account has a balance of $1,828.92 as of 4/15/02. Re-charter fees have been paid for 2002-2003.
