The 2003 theme for February is "Uncle Sam Depends on You"

NEEDED: Committee members to plan all aspects of this years Blue and Gold Banquet.
QUALIFICATIONS: Any member of the pack who likes to plan parties, is organized, likes to have fun or watch kids have fun. In other words... you are qualified!

If you have any ideas please bring them to your den leader so that we can get a head start and make this the BEST BLUE and GOLD ever!!!

Can't find anything interesting there (wow, your tough!) Try using your favorite search engine and use "blue and gold banquet" as your search. (also, look in the pack's library in the storage room, there are lots of old "pow-wow" books that have information about blue and gold)

Tickets for Blue and Gold MUST be purchased in advance! Tickets will only be available through (? Banquet committee member). Cost is as follows:

Rules:
Cub Scout, and adult male partner (Father, Grandfather, Uncle etc) will make a cake to be judged and at end of evening auctioned.

  • This is strictly a "father/son" creation. (There is to be NO help from mom, grandma, sister, aunts etc)
  • Cakes must be delivered for judging no later than (?) (to Fellowship Hall)
  • ALL parts of the cakes must be edible including decorations

Award certificates (may- it's up to the Banquet Committee) given for:

"Most Original"
"Tallest Cake"
"Flatest cake"
"Best Cub Scout theme"
"Yummiest Looking"
