Pack 309 on Yahoo
In addition to this web site, Pack 309 also has its own Yahoo Group at http://groups.yahoo.com/group/cubpack309. For those of you that are not familiar with Yahoo Groups, they are member created forums that offer message boards, photo sharing, chat areas, and more. There is no charge to access Yahoo groups, but you must register with a valid email address, and select a user name and password. Click here to register with Yahoo. Why a Yahoo Group? More than ever, our kids safety is important. A Yahoo Group offers a secure forum where we can post photos of our scouts and their activities without fear of the wrong people seeing them. The security settings on this group are as high as we can make them, and access is granted ONLY to the families of our scouts. How to Join Pack 309 on Yahoo In order to make sure that only the families of our scouts may access the Yahoo group, we have set up a system with security in mind. The setting for membership is restricted. That means that anyone can sign up to join, but will not be granted access until they are approved. To gain approval submit you must submit your Yahoo ID to your childs Den Leader who will pass it along to those in charge of the Yahoo Group.
