Pack 309 News Welcome to our Pack News Page. This is where you can find the inside info on what goes on in the pack. We will be posting the minutes of each months committee meetings as well as other important information. If you have any pack related news you would like included here, please send it to our new webmaster at the following address (or just click on the link) [email protected]. And speaking of the new webmaster, you have probably noticed that the web site has been updated and completely redesigned. If you have any suggestions, feel free to email them to the above address as well. Committee Meeting Pack #309 October 24th, 2004 1. Fall Camp-out Wickham Park- Moved to Manatee Haven- Located at the far west end of Malabar Road in Palm Bay. We are to support a game from each pack at the new location. I am still trying to reach Barb Joplin to get the game she offered. Fall back game will be provided by Karen Carman. Belinda will supply prizes for winners. Each den will supply a non-melting candy to be given as consolation prize. Times for Dens manning Saturday Game: 9:00 to 10:00 Karen Carmen Wolves 2 10:00 to 11:00 Jamie Savage Bear 1 11:00 to 12:00 Sarah Anthony Webelo 1 12:00 to 1:00 Belinda Goldberg Wolves 1 2. Popcorn orders due Nov. 1st. All orders must be turned into Den Leader and they will retain a copy for their records. Prizes are not pyramided. If a scout sales a $100.00 in popcorn he can have the $100.00 prize or 2 $50.00 prizes, not the $100.00 prize and the $50.00 prize. Popcorn will be distributed to the den leaders or their designated representative on Saturday November 20th before noon at the church. Money for orders is due on Dec 1st. 3. Scouting For Food – Scouting for food is Nov 6th for bag distribution and Nov. 13th for food pick-up. Jamie Savage’s Bear den will handle the split up of the assigned areas. We need a large turn out for this is our largest service project of the year and many of our friends and neighbors are in need of assistants. Also we need to keep track of the number of service hours for our good turn for America service project. 4. Pack Meeting – Any awards for this pack meeting need to be sent to Monica via e-mail. We will have a pre-meeting game planed for the kids starting at 6:00pm. Sherri will be collecting money for registration and pack dues. Marc Rocque will bring cookies for the kids to decorate in a Halloween theme. Marc please inform us all if you need us to bring frosting, cookies or other decorating items? A.S.A.P. 5. We will have a sign up sheet for the kids to participate in the Satellite Beachch United Methodist Church religious education program. This is for kids 1st thru 3rd grade. 6. Sign up for Poinsettia sales will be at this pack meeting. We are asking for two adults and two boys to man a location for 1 hour between 9:00 and 3:00. The dates and locations are listed below. Jackson Ave. Dental Office Nov. 26th and 27th Ace Hardware Nov.27th, Dec. 4th and 5th Den Leaders: Please have your den roster updated for final recharter (Spencer just put out a new update today). Last day to register for next years recharter is this Thursday. Not later then Nov.1st.
