World Crest - An optional badge worn
to show membership in the World Brotherhood of Scouting. Worn centered
above the pocket midway between the pocket and the shoulder seam.
Religious Emblem (Not Shown)
- Presented to boys who have earned the religious emblem of their faith,
this award has two forms: Square Knot and Medal. The square knot is worn
centered above, and touching, the pocket. The medal is worn centered above,
but not touching, the pocket. NOTE: The medal is only worn on formal occasions
such as uniform inspections, the Blue & Gold Banquets, etc.
Service Stars - These gold metallic
numbered stars with colored backgrounds are worn to indicate years of service.
Tiger Cubs service is denoted by the orange background, Cub and Webelos
Scout service is denoted by a yellow background. The stars are worn centered
3/8" above the pocket, or religious square knot if earned.
Attendance Pin & Bar (Not
Shown) - A gold pin that may be worn by scouts who been recognized for
good attendance (requirements determined by the Pack Committee). Year bars
are available to attach to the first year bar and pin. Worn centered above,
but not touching, the pocket.
Activity Medals (Not Shown)
- These medals, earned by Scouts in derbiies or other contests are worn
centered above, but not touching, the pocket. As with the religious emblems,
these are to be worn only on special occasions. Only one activity
medal may be worn in addition to the religious medal and attendence
pin.
Arrow of Light Award - The highest
award in Cub Scouting and the only Cub Scout badge which many be
worn on the Boy Scout uniform! Worn on the pocket flap centered
over the button.
Badges of Rank - The Bobcat,
Wolf, Bear, and Webelos badges are worn as shown in the illustration to
the left.
Arrow Points - Arrow points
are awarded to Wolf and Bear Scouts for every ten electives completed.
A Gold Arrow Point is awarded for the first 10 electives completed. A
Silver Arrow Point is awarded for each additional 10 electives. The arrow
points are worn as shown in the illustration.
