On 'Leichhardt Farms', Barcaldine, QLD.
The 35ft. Comet Windmill with a 10 inch pump, has maintained the water supply in 15 miles of open bore drain and 3 large ground tanks.

24ft.Comet Plants, typical of hundreds which are the sole choice of Mills used by the Northern Territory Government on all major stock routes.

'Hamilton Downs', Northern Territory.

We have 28 Comet Mills on Hamilton Downs. The sizes vary from 16ft. to 24ft. They have never been damaged by storms,
because they are extra strong and their automatic speed governing is so safe. Their costs in repairs is nil.
They are definitely most reliable.
A feature we like about Comets is that they start pumping in light breezes and they certainly pump more water than other makes.
We consider that Comet Mills are most economical to install because they are really reliable and have extra pumping capacity.
Our choice will always be Comets.

(Sgd) Pat Davis.

'Doondi', Coonamble, NSW.

As an old client with 44 years' experience of your mills in QLD and NSW, I have for many tears championed you mills,
Knowing the satisfactory and economic service they would provide.
Here at Doondi, I have 4 Comets pumping from bores over a long period, some up to 24 years,
without any repairs being necessary and no pump raised since they were originally placed in position - not even to replace a pump leather.
The mills are all in perfect order. This is an achievement well worth recording.
It is no wonder I have great regard for Comet Mills, and indeed for any Comet products.

(Sgd) R. C. Pearce.

'Moonagee', Nyngan. NSW.

On the many properties in NSW and QLD controlled by Killen Pastoral Companies,
we have during the past 28 years installed over 100 Comet Mills.
The sizes range from 6ft. to 27ft. and pumping depths are down to 420ft.
The 16ft. Comet has been working splendidly for 28 years without any repair costs.
It is now our policy to replace other makes of mills with Comets.
They pump more water, cost less for repairs and give the most satisfactory service.

(Sgd) G. L. Killen.

'Strathmore' Station, Collinsville, QLD.

'Strathmore' aggregation now has some 45 windmill plants, all of which are Comets, from 14ft. to 22ft.
They are pumping from depths of 40ft. to 300ft.
They are excellent units and have always given the utmost satisfaction.
A number of these have been pumping constantly for over 17 years.
Apart from oiling they have never had any servicing or new parts, and they are still pumping as well as ever.
In the near future we shall install more mills and these will be Comets.
We feel that their reliability, pumping ability and low annual cost of operation cannot be surpassed.

(Sgd) E. Cunningham.
