Links

Euan has pointed out that it would be worth creating a links page as I am putting links in my journal and putting them in one place might make it easier for visitors to the site. So here they are...

Weight Loss Resources
This site shouldn't be called Weight Loss Resources because it is far more than that. As you enter the foods you have eaten during the day the site tracks the percentage of carbs, protein and fat you've eaten and presents it in an easy to understand graph. It also tracks how much fruit and vegetables you've eaten during the day as we all know you should be eating at least 5 per day. There is a database containing all manner of foods and if the food isn't in the database you can add it manually for all to use. This is a site for everyone.

Krista Smash's Women's Weightlifting
According to Krista... "Now you're probably scratching your head a little because--wait a minute--women don't lift weights! Well earth to you, sweetie, because they do and they do it well." A site dedicated to females and weight lifting and no, I don't mean those sites where all the women look like goddesses. It's about getting hot and sweaty and working those muslces hard.

Something Fishy Website for Eating Disorders
Eating disorders are not just about anorexia or bulimia. Even unhealthy relationships with food can be disorders. This site helps to understand eating disorders.

Polar Heart Rate Monitors
Heart Rate Monitors are a very effective way of checking that you are working in the right "zone". Working at 60-70% of your maximum rate is considered to be the fat burning range and 70-80% is considered to be the cardio range. By working in the right range you will be ensuring that you are doing the most good for your body.
