One curious thing all the sightings have in common is the location of strange imprints near the locations of the incidents. Landing gear prints perhaps? The thing seems to move too quickly to have any sort of track like on a tank. Others theorize they are crop circle / alien spacecraft sort of indentations caused by the force of a landing.

Some say they are footprints of a giant robot. People have found them arranged in a linear formation like a human steps. A robot seems a bit obvious and doesn't take into consideration the preemption of the accidents.

Most of the imprints are found and photographed after there is some sort of incident. We're lucky it rains a lot here in Oxford keeping the ground wet.
