| These "Cheats" are various Cheats that I have came across in Magazines, and various other websites, and as they are cheats there is no guarentee you that they work, (in most of these cheats cases i couldnt get them to work for me... but they might work for you..although i doubt it) One thing I would like to clear up first though, about the Characters... You Cannot get Sephiroth, Zack, Dyne, a character called "holy", a "ryu" from a game that came out 1 year after and made by a completely different company, Tiaoh, Proffessor Gast, or any other character is NOT available to be in the game... Aeris cannot be brought back to life in the USA or international versions, only the japanese version (apparently...) The only characters you have in the game are Aeris, Cloud, Cid, Red XIII, Tifa, Barret, Vincent, Yuffie and Cait Sith. and Aeris does die so you cannot have her in the game after disc 1 (unless you use a gameshark cheat and ruin the game) anyways here are the cheats so far.... Cheats: EXTRA MONEY CHEATS: There are four ways that i know of to gain extra money of final fantasy vii, and for once all of them actually work :D here they are: 1. Use the W-item cheat (see Item Dupe trick) on Sylkis Greens to get 99 of them, then sell them for 247,500gil 2. Master the "All" Materia (Blue materia), then after you have mastered them they can be sold for 1.4 million gil. 3.Fight an Epiolnis (the multi-colored bird) in the Ancient Forest. Steal a Wizard Bracelet from it, and sell it for 12,000 Gil. 4.When at the Gold Saucer Prison, go out in the desert and fight a enemy called Cactuar. Defeat him to get 10,000 Gil. (This creature can also be found at Cactuar Island on the south-east area of the map, or south of Cosmo Canyon). Instant Regeneration (doesnt work? :S) This trick allows you to regenerate yourself to full health without getting attacked. To accomplish this, you must be in a battle. Any enemy is fine. Cast Regen, and then cast another spell. But before the second spell can be cast, open the CD door on the PlayStation. This will keep the game from accessing the spell, and everything just literally halts. However, time still continues, and so will the Regen spell. When it is finished, simply close the CD door again. You will experience some brief slowing of the game, but it will return to normal once the spell is accessed and cast. The good side is that the normally slow process of the Regen will be finished without suffering any attacks by the enemy! I personally haven't tried this trick/cheat, but people who have tried it have said it doesnt work, so I'm unsure... try it yourself and let me know :) Item Dupe Trick Now this trick is pretty easy, and it can be useful if your low on certain items or need more items so you can sell to get more money... This is how you do it. You need a W-item Materia, which allows you to use two items in one round. Go into battle and use the materia, then select the item you want to dupe, and then use it on a character or opponent. For the second part of the W-item, select any item (if you had two or more of the first item, just select the same one), but don't use it! Instead, press X to Cancel. You should then get one more of the first item. You can then simply reuse this trick over and over, selecting an item and then canceling, getting up to 99 of that item! Be sure that after you are done duping the first item, cancel completely out of the W-item menu before duping another item. If you don't, you could accidentally end up wasting an item! Cheating at Chocobo Racing This trick works only when you are actually riding the Chocobo in the races, and not the normal times when you are just betting on the winner. During the race, hold down R1, and R2. You can be in Manual or Auto control. Your stamina meter will not go down -- in fact, if it was not full, the meter will actually go up! If you are sprinting, however, the meter will go down very slowly. Another way I have received to get the Chocobo to stop losing energy is to get a Black Chocobo in the S Class. It doesn't appear to work at all with anything less than a Black. Have Cid in your party (it also seems to work with Tifa as well). When you go and race, Cid (or Tifa) will ask if he (or she) could race too (like they do on the Snowboarding game). Let them run the race. What happens next seems to be entirely random: The chocobo will dash the entire race, without losing the energy bar! However, this trick is unverified at the moment. Slot Selection Trick (questionable...) This trick allows you to slow down the slots for either Cait Sith's Limit, Tifa's Limit or the Handicap on the Battle Square at the Gold Saucer. All you have to do is tap Square while the slots are rotating and it will actually slow down. This allows you to select what you want the slots' outcome to be a lot easier. However, this trick doesnt work, it takes away the menu screens and the characters hp/mp info so it makes you think the slots are slowing down... this might actually work for some of you out there, but for everyone i know who has tried this trick, it doesnt work... Skip Midgar Zolom (questionable... and risky) On disc one, when you have to pass through the Mythril mines, if you ever hated having to fight the Midgar Zolom in the marsh near the Chocobo Farm, ?(which you have to pass through to get to the mines) but don't have a Chocobo to run by him with or aren't strong enough to fight it, then your answer is here. Run part way across the marsh and save your game before the Zolom can get to you. Reset the game and continue, you will be right where you left off but the Zolom will be at its "starting point". After doing this a few times you can cross the marsh with no Zolom fights! However I'd advise to just get a chocobo and cross, as its more easier and saves you having to save, and risk getting attacked... Obtain Quadra Magic Without Chocobo (questionable...) This cheat can be used as soon as you get the Highwind on Disc 2. Here's what you have to do. It is quite simple really you just have to be patient and I say this because I haven't gotten it to work yet, and once again its probably easier to get the chocobo instead as I dont know anyone this trick has worked for...if it has worked for you please email me and tell me about it at [email protected] or [email protected] thank you/ Go to the cliff that leads to the cave with the Quadra Magic in it. Get the Highwind as high as it will fly and align the shadow of it with the little jagged part of that cliff. The Highwind also has to be facing the "green land", this means that the little jagged cliff you need to land on will be on the left side the cliff that is. Now as you land, push X, you have to land the highwind and as you do hold right and O. Cloud will drop out of the Highwind, off the cliff, and onto the rocky strip of land below. Now go and claim that Quadra Magic!! |
