| Beat the Weapons! |

| ULTIMATE WEAPON: During disc 3, you can chase down Ultimate Weapon and deafeating it means you will recieve Cloud's ultimate Weapon (Ultima) and you'll also be able to gain access to the ANCIENT FOREST near cosmo canyon. (However, it is advisable to gain access to the ancient forest before this, using a green or black chocobo, because then the items there are more worthwhile). Ultimate Weapon will be hovering over the lake near junon first. Fly up to it in the highwind to enter combat against it. It's advisable to put up a wall or MBarrier and keep your party fully healed throughout the battle. (it may be advisable if you have the enemy skill ???? to use that, as it casts MBarrier, Barrier and Haste on all allies for not very much MP). Plummet the WEAPON with your strongest spells, summons and attacks. (it may be useful to get the (Yellow) command materia DOUBLE CUT and get your strongest character to hit the weapon with as much damage as you can do). If your characters are high levels (50+?) they should do quite a bit of damage with their attacks alone, equip your weaker attacker with enemy skill (as long as you have learnt the enemy skill ????) and summons and spell materia, and equip your stronger fighters with good strong weapons. So this battle should be a little easier. After Ultimate WEAPON takes a few thousand points of damage in this battle, it will fly off just like it did in mideel. Chase WEAPON in the highwind and stay on its tail until it hovers over another location (this could be Nibelheim, Midgar, Mideel or Cosmo Canyon as they appear to be it's favourite locations for the second fight.) As soon as it stops in its selected location Ram into it with the Highwind once again, you wont take any damage, and infact it should cause the WEAPON to find a new target more rapidly. In this battle just do the same as the last, until it flys off again, this time in the direction of Cosmo Canyon. Ultimate WEAPON cannot heal itself after a battle, so it will head for Cosmo Canyon as its final resting place. Defeat it there and it should plumet to the planet, destroying a large area of the canyon. For defeating it you recieve Clouds ultimate Weapon; (ULTIMA WEAPON.) and now you can reach the Ancient forest on foot instead of a chocobo through the destroyed area, although I'd advise you get some decent chocobos and visit the forest before weapon makes it avaliable to you by foot... THE AMERICAN WEAPONS: the two other weapons in the american version of final fantasy vii are quite possibly the game's greatest challenge. Ruby weapon is one of the hardest bosses you will come across in all final fantasy games.
