Because God is calling us! All of us find ourselves in a unique
time of life. We're young, we're single, and we're unburdened by
other commitments. God has given us love for this ministry. Our
excitement continues to grow as we witness faith developing in the
Japanese friends we have made over the past two years.
Osaka is a place of great opportunity. Only 0.7% of the Japanese
population is a part of any type of church. It's also a place
that is hungry for contact with native English and American culture.
We see God opening doors for us to use our ability to speak English to
share Jesus with many different people. The Japanese society is
changing and many young professionals, as well as older people, are
looking to the future and seeking a new sense of purpose. The
emptiness and unhappiness as a result of overwork and high stress in
the workplace leave an open door for the renewal and peace that come
through Christ. People are opening their ears and hearts to the
Good News.
As God works powerfully in Osaka we praise Him for His willingness to
share this love of Osaka with us! Let's go!
