 You Are So Far, Yet You Are So Near You are so far, yet you are so near. When I first saw your face, you had such grace. I was in the movie theater, way up above, and immidiatley, I fell in love. At first I thought I was your number one fan, until I founf out I was not. There is someone out there who is more obsessed than me. But I still devote my time and money. I look at my wall, and I immidiatley fall. As I'm walking down the street, staring at my feet. I finally look up and stand abrupt. As I looked down the road, I suddenly froze. I stared into your big brown eyes, and you stared back at mine. I started walking down the road, hoping to find that it wasn't a dream. I reached out to touch you, and you reached out at me. But when we met, You faded into the air. I try not to cry, as I realize You are so far, yet you are so near. ~Amber~  Not there, But here You are so far away, just like a cloud, So why does it see you are here with me? Laying there, with me in your arm, I know with you, there can be no harm. We sit there and talk for hours on end, And with each note, our love we send. What happened to the night, where did it go? I wish we could still talk, I wish it so. But till the next day, when we meet again, I'll sit there and count to the number ten. And as I lay there and drift to sleep, I'll think about you, until me slumber is deep. And the next day when I see you once more, I'll look at you, and open my door. And as we spend these moments together, We'll sit there, and wish they'd last forever. But as we know, this really is not true We'll think about it, and sadly grow blue. And when you walk me to my door and kiss me goodnight, I will secretly grow a terrible fright.
