Original Culture is culture that came with the
beginning of time. It is as old as the
mountains and clouds themselves. All
peoples came from Mother Earth and therefore are rooted into the soil of the
planet. We have history with the sun, moon, and stars as
well. We are connected to them through
our Mother Earth at the navel. That is why you can run as far and as fast as
you like and still cannot get away from them. They are your family, embrace
them and they shall embrace you. Take walks in nature and enjoy the scent of flowers,
the cool breeze, the hot sun, the colorful birds, and the friendly people.
Know that this is the beauty that is our Mother Earth. Just as she’s beautiful so too is our original
culture. It is especially good for the
very young and the very wise. It is
good for and to the environment; it is good to and for the people who
experience it and it is good to and for our animal relatives. We are a small group of
people bound together by blood, by culture, by our-story. We are a people who
have maintained our traditional song, dance, art, language, clothing,
spiritual, and food, despite significant events and changes in our lives. We
are a small group of people with a big story to tell. |
