So, I went to the clinic this morning at about 7:00. The doors were open, that was about it. I couldn't see Kylie through the windows, because the curtains were closed. So I saw Mayuho and we talked for a while. Around 10:00 I got the pictures and came back to make the first page. Then, back to the clinic. At 2:00, the nurses came with Kylie and she had her first taste of mom's milk. I think she liked it. But not so much came out, so she had some formula in a bottle. They gave us advice about what to do and what order. They said they would come back at 5:00 and do it again, this time Mayuho and I had to do it ourselves. Right after they took her away, Mayuho's mom came, then two of her friends from her Gospel Choir circle. Afterwards, Fumiko (Mayuho's mother) and I went out for sushi, and are going back to the clinic at 7:00PM to say goodnight.
It is now 8:30, we went to say goodnight and saw Kylie again. And I changed her diaper for the first time! (For such a little thing, she sure pooped a lot!) In case you are interested, it was green. |
