A fall picnic and drive
in the mountains near Takahagi
And here's me!
Here we are at the Takahagi Forest Park. I didn't know that they had such a nice expanse of well mowed grass in this city! (Japan is notoriously short on well tended grass outside of golf courses.)
Here's Mayuho
Our picnic lunch was wonderful: Hot tea and coffee, sushi, apples, tako-yaki (fried octopus) and some of the best cake ever made!
Here's the baby!
A nice couple took this picture of us on the bridge in the Hananuki Valley. It was very beautiful there, if a bit cold.
This is "Kami-Kimida." An area of Takahagi.
A bit of fall color in the mountains. We were on a road so narrow I thought we would fall off!
