Disalination is the process of turning dirty water, salt water, or any non-pure water into fresh water.  The least expensive and easy way to do this is the solar still. If using a dome structure, the water in some cases is evaporated and run down the sides of a dome like structure,  and is caught in a trough.
It is a really interesting process and if your thristy, it can come in useful!

Surface Buoys are used to mark points and warn people for danger. They are commmonly used on beaches to mark how far you can swim out, where you can not take your boats or water vechicles. Also, to mark points for investigation or exploration. They come in different shapes and sizes and are used for many other reasons.

This net is used to collect plankton for study. Plankton are weak swimmers, incapable of swimming against the ocean's currents. Plankton is divided into two basic types: Phytoplankton and Zooplankton.
