| Orchestra Boosters award partial scholarships for everyone attending a summer music camp or joining a Youth Orchestra. The Orchestra Boosters policy for awarding a scholarship is: "Each student applying for a scholarship to a summer music camp, or for youth orchestra, tuition will be awarded a scholarship equal to 75 cents per geranium sold in the current year by the student applying. However, the maximum amount of the scholarship shall be $100 (or the cost of the camp or utition, if such fees are less than $100). Students applying for a scholarship are also eligible to receive a gift certificate; however, only sales in excess of 100 geraniums will be counted towards the gift certificate." Scholarships will be awarded at the spring String Festival Concert, so don't delay to submit your applications to summer camp or Youth Symphony. If your Orchestra student is planning on attending a camp this summer or will be joining a youth symphony, please turn in the application below with your geranium money on April 22, 2003. _______________________________________________________________________ |
