Soda Bulb Bomb |
You will need: |
- a rectangle of aluminum foil approximately 25x12cm |
- 5 or 6 sparklers |
- 1 soda bulb |
Method: |
1. Lay out the foil on a flat surface |
2. Strip the flammables off of 4 or 5 sparklers. |
3. Place the grains/powder in a mound in the middle of the foil. |
4. Place the soda bulb on the foil, skinny end up with the bottom resting in the sparkler "dust". |
5. Trim the excess wire from one sparkler and place it along side the soda bulb. Have it so the
end of the sparkler touches the sparkler dust. This is your fuse. |
6. Wrap the foil around the soda bulb and sparkler dust, keeping the sparkler dust at the bottom
of the bulb. Wrap it similar to how a diaper is put on a baby (seriously!). Make sure the fuse
sticks out the top. Also, don't wrap any foil tightly around the fuse because it makes it go out
sometimes. |
7. Ignite the fuse and run. |
Info: |
By now you may be wondering what soda bulbs are. They're simply small, usually green or silver
cylinder shaped container of compressed inflammable gas. They are used for putting bubbles in
soft drink through a machine often called a soda stream. The compressed carbon dioxide gas
inside them is extremely cold so if you decide to puncture one, don't get the gas on your hands
'cause it freeze burns. These little pricks are available at most supermarkets but with the
increase of people making bombs with them and hurting themselves, soda bulbs are getting
banned to persons under 16 in lots of places. |
