| Day 4: The plan for today is to visit Basilique du Sacre Coeur and Le Louvre. But first we wanted to find China town to grab something to eat. We found China town after a little search. It was very quiet China town, this was around 10:00AM. We walked around some more and found Pho shop, alright I was hoping we can eat Kao-Piek or something, we walked in and the lady put bean sprout and water, and got ready for us for the Pho ummm... Pho it is hahaa... it was around 10:30AM. Pho was no good, small bowl and not very tasty. Then we walk around and got some cup noodles. By the time we get out of China town it was 11:30 or something like that. Sacre Coeur is ver nice, I don't remember much of it :). We climb a very long stairs up to the top, the view is awesome. It must of been about 400 steps round trip. Our feet hurts a little. Got down and find a place on the hill to sit and eat our Vietnamese sandwiches. Beautiful views and the sandwich was good. I noticed there are many baggers around Sacre Coeur and many people were selling the keychains, they were harrassing people to buy their stuffs. Most baggers appear to be from middle east, I gave my 2 Euro to a lady. There must be an organized gangs of these types of stuff. Alright, lunch is done. We walked around, the atmosphere is very nice, I can hang out there, we had some ice cream. There is no time to visit Le Louvre today. We headed to Arc De Triomphe, it was around 4:00PM. By this time our feet starts to hurt and we can feel and see it in each other's faces :). We went up Arc De Triomphe oooooohhhhhhhh boy I have to stopped a couple of times. Alright the feet is killing me by now. The view is just ok :). We walk around fast and came back down and took some more pictures. Then it's time to enjoy Avenue des Champs Elysees... OMG hahaa.... ENJOY? Supposed to anyway but our feet hurts so bad but I made quit abit of a way at Champs. It would of been very enjoyable if we were well rested, there are ton of tourists and local enjoying their wines and beer and food on the street, I'll have to come back again. I am sure I missed so many things on this street. |

| Next on our destination is to visit Napoleon Bonaparte's tomb. Oiy Oiy the feet is dieing :). Long walk across the park to get there. The place was quiet and huge again. It was closed, we couldn't get ticket. We took pictures outside. We headed back to our hotel, first we stopped by the Gyro shop to get some sandwich to go. We at in our room today. It was late around 9:00PM already. Some how we always ended up staying up too late, umm.... I blame it on the French, the rumor about them not taking shower is NOT TRUE, they take at least ONE HOUR of shower two times a day :). Our plan for the next day is Le Louvre and Chateau De Versailles. LIghts off and zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz with no problem. SaoDokmai's highlight of today is the guys in the skirts. |
