Paris and London in 6 days
Tower Bridge, London
Day 2:

We set the alarm to go off at 6:00AM and we got up at 6AM but both of us took a while to get ready, we finally left our room at 7:00AM, supposed to be at the Train Station by 7:30.  We grabbed some pastries and ran to the metro but that darn train takes forever to get to it, next thing I know when I look at the clock was two minutes before 8:00AM.  Yiks, our train is leaving at 8:00AM to London, I can hear the final boarding called :).  Then I had to fill out custom form that slow us down a little.  We ran to our train box and by the time we got on, we were all sweating like crazy and it was past 8:00AM.  Life is exciting isn't it? :)

Took us 2.5hrs to get to Waterloo station in London.  We got off and went looking for the BIG BUS hops on and hops off bus.  Found it and we headed to Buckingham Palace.  They didn't have changing of the guard that day, it was to be on the even day in September.  We took some pictures outside the palace and went looking for our hotel.

Got to the hotel at noon but can't check in until 1:30PM, so, we went to grab some lunch, it was not so good lunch maybe we were tire.  We also had some ice cream, that was good.

Then we went back to check into our hotel.  From the outisde this hotel looks very decent but when we got into our room, oh boy.  First place I look was the bathroom, umm... let's just say we didn't really want to discuss our hotel room in London :).  Let's just say I wouldn't book there again and I am surprise to see many guests keep comming and asked for a room.  The stair railing is falling apart, this hotel is slowing melting :).

Soon after we check in we left and went to hop on the BIG bus again.  We headed to ride the Thame river cruise.  We wrote down to the Tower of London and got off.  Took some pictures but my camera ran out of battery.   We didn't get to go inside the Tower itself, it was kind of late by this time and we were very tire.

We got to see most of London's most famous spots thanks to the Big Bus ride in afternoon, even though we didn't have time to hang out at those places.
So, we passed by Trafalgar square, Picadilly Circus with its Eros statue (it is said that if 2 lovers declare their love to each other under the statue of Eros their lover will last forever), Marble Arch, Hyde Park, the Green Park (named so because there are no flowers in this park and according to the anecdote our charming tour guide told us, that was because some Queen one day asked her lover to go pick a flower in the park and give it to the most beautiful woman in his eyes. So, her lover pick a flower and gave it to one of her servants, that was why the Queen from then on, forbade any flower to be planted in that garden). And btw, Saofalang thinks the tour guide was cute and she made me took a picture of him :).

We also visited St. Paul cathedral before we went to Buckingham palace, but we couldn't take pictures, I tried to sneak to take vdo though.

The BIG BUS stopped running at 6:00PM, so, we had to ride the tube(train) back to our hotel.  It was expensive to ride the tube.

We had dinner at Italian Restaurant but looked like they were in a hurry to close, it was around 9:00PM.

Then we head back to our hotel and rest.
