A ) Seminars for SMEs On " Marketing "
Generally the Seminars for SMEs ( Small & Medium Enterprises ) are being held on a specific and
narrow subjects like - Value Added Tax , Art of Negotiations , etc . But not on a generic topic like
Marketing , which is taken for granted by the SMEs.
Probably for the first time anybody has touched a
topic like Marketing especially for SMEs.
Mr Madhav Karbelkar , our founder , designed a half
a day Seminar on Marketing exclusively for SMEs.
First such Programme was held in collaboration with
Bombay Industries Association ,and the subject
was -" Planning For Growth Through Better Marketing ".
It was held in Hotel " Atithi ' - Mumbai on 28th Nov 03.
The Topics covered were - The Growth Challenge , Strategic Marketing , Launching of New Products ,
The Value Proposition ,Preparing Marketing Plan and Tools For Effective Marketing
43 Participants attended the Seminar by paying Rs 400 /- each.
In fact the participation from different Industries proved our point that Marketing is important for all the sectors of Industry !. The participants were from -
Light As well as Heavy Engineering Industry ,Water Chemicals , Lubricants , Flexible
Packaging ,Material Handling , Communication , Pneumatic Equipments , Electronic Instruments , Specialty Chemicals etc.
The event was termed as a very successful , by the Association and more so by the Participants , if there is any indication from the feed back received !

All the six Seminars were of half day duration , only on Marketing , and were Paid Seminars .
B ) Sales Training Programmes -
While providing Consultancy to SME sector companies and also due to extensive interaction with them , we realized that apart from Marketing
Approach , Training or Orientation of Sales Executives of SME sector companies is not getting desired attention. A well trained and motivated Sales
Team is really an asset of any Organization- small or Big. And it needs to be developed systematically by Providing Training etc.
We therefore designed half a Day Training Programme covering Topics like - Understanding Industrial Buying Process , How & What of Tele
Marketing of Industrial Products , Active Listening & Asking Questions , How to conduct First Customer meeting and Sales Analysis.
The Programmes are conducted at client's place .
Many such Programs have been conducted for companies engaged in Marketing of Chemicals ,
Instruments etc.
