OVERVIEW OF CLASS LEVELS
Shake Your Bootie
- (4 mos. to walking)
- Babies will experience songs, tickles, and
rhymes for playtime, bath time, and bed time.
- Dancing, shaking maracas with friends, and
becoming familiar with many different sights
and sounds will stimulate your baby’s senses and strengthen the bond
between you.
Movers & Shakers - (walking to 2 years)
Toddlers who are ready to move with their own
two feet will enjoy walking, bouncing,
or rocking to the beat of a drum or strumming guitar.
Action songs, puppets, dancing, exploring
percussion instruments will give these ‘movers’
a lot to smile about.
Big Notes
- (2 years)
An age group that is ready for pretend play will
learn about music by using a variety of
percussion instruments in the context of fun, imaginative themes.
Moving to music or drum beats is interspersed
with time to sing together or listen to a
picture book put to song.
Children of Note - (3 years)
Exposure to stringed instruments through
classical music, brass and woodwind through jazz, and the percussion of
multicultural music is all part of the learning. Movement to music,
games, and story books make this journey an enjoyable one.
Singing voices and rhythm awareness are
developed through action songs and hands on time with percussion
instruments.
Reading & Rocking - (3 & 4 years)
- Music games, singing, and hands-on instrument
time will provide active learning
about the meaning of the story book highlighted each week.
Famjam -
(birth to 5 years) for parents wanting to
bring 2 children (up to 5 years of age)
to a music program
Siblings will enjoy songs, puppets, music games,
percussion instruments and lots of movement
to music with their parent.
